Umpqua Introduces STRATOS X Floating Tippet

For 2025, Umpqua Feather Retailers has launched an entire new line of nylon tippet materials, STRATOS X, designed particularly for dry-fly fishing. Based on the parents at Umpqua, STRATOS X is comprised of a proprietary, low-density co-polymer that’s 10% lighter than customary nylon, permitting it to drift increased and longer than different nylon tippets.

The fabric’s grey camo sample is designed to reduce visibility, and its elevated suppleness permits for extra pure drifts, even in micro-currents. With distinctive abrasion resistance and low reminiscence, Umpqua says, STRATOS X presents sturdiness with out sacrificing efficiency.

STRATOS X tippet materials is out there is 3X-7X.
