Tying Tuesday: High and Low Patterns

This week’s Tying Tuesday incorporates a large attractor dry, a deep-diving nymph, and a cool tube fly. (A reader not too long ago requested a tube-fly video, and we intention to please.) We kick issues off with a video from McFly Angler, who teaches us to tie the legendary Madam X, designed by Doug Swisher within the Nineteen Eighties. This can be a nice attractor sample, and one which works nicely in a dry-dropper setup. Subsequent, Travis Hanson from AvidMax walks us via the steps to create a cool caddis nymph that’s extraordinarily buggy. Lastly, we serve up one thing a bit totally different: a tube fly. The excellently named Håkan Karsnäser reveals you how you can set the tube within the vise, after which how you can gown it up. The top result’s a chic tube streamer for salmon or trout.
